French power equipment giant Alstom has been awarded a contract of Rs 530 crore by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), to supply components and services for the 660 MW supercritical boilers at NTPC sites of two units located in Mouda, Maharashtra, India.

Tiruchirapalli, Jan 3 : The Public Sector Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) here has successfully established technology for Circulating Fluidised Bed Combustion (CFBC) boilers of 125 MW capacity using lignite as fuel, according to Mr A V Krishnan, Executive Director, BHEL, here.
