SUMPTER TOWNSHIP: Sumpter must improve drains, clean ditches to stop flooding
Drain improvements and cleaning of ditches are needed to address the flooding that plagued areas of Sumpter Township during recent heavy rainfalls, Wayne County Department of Public Services officials informed the township deputy supervisor during a meeting this month at township hall.
