MINNEAPOLIS — Fat and sassy was replaced by determined, efficient and opportunistic. A Purdue basketball team that played so poorly Thursday night in a 20-point loss at Penn State that coach Matt Painter described his players as “fat and sassy” responded in a big way Sunday night in Williams Arena.
