A 6? cast iron residential water main line capable of carrying up to 1100-1700 gallons per minute (roughly 66000 gallons an hour) ruptured earlier today (12:30pm) near the Venice Canals. The line was shut off by 2pm.

The City of Roseburg is still trying to find the location of a major water leak , which is causing them to lose around 1000 gallons per minute from the reservoirs.
