After a rather successful trip to Puerto Rico where the Purdue Boilermakers earned a pair of wins over potential NCAA Tournament teams Purdue returns home Wednesday night to face Western Michigan. The Broncos could have played Purdue in the second round of the Puerto Rico tip-Off, but Purdue’s 91-90 win over Iona kept Purdue in the winner’s bracket

The Purdue men’s basketball team escaped with a 91-90 victory over Iona in the Puerto Rico tip-off. Senior forward Robbie Hummel hit the game winning shot with 20 seconds left to put Purdue back on top for good.
